Current and Former State Employees
The Division of Personnel also maintains job postings for current and former state employees. To qualify for an internal position, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- have previously been employed by the State of West Virginia and have surpassed the probationary period to become certified permanent; or,
- are currently working as a state employee and have surpassed the probationary period to become certified permanent.
To apply for an internal job, either complete the Application for Employment or submit a resume to the contact (person or agency) listed on the job posting before the closing date. Do not mail or submit your application/resume to the Division of Personnel.
