Personnel's Total Compensation Calculator Available

The West Virginia Division of Personnel (DOP) has announced the addition of the Total Compensation Calculator, available on the Benefits page of the DOP website.

The calculator provides information on how an employee's salary extends beyond just their take-home pay by calculating the estimated value of insurance, leave and retirement benefits.

"The Total Compensation Calculator is a powerful tool to help with state employee recruitment and retention," said DOP director Sheryl Webb. "The calculator allows employees to calculate the benefits they are earning as state employees and can help them see a fuller, more complete picture of income."

The DOP developed the calculator with Delegate Daniel Linville and the West Virginia Office of Technology (OT). "We appreciate everyone's quick work on development and implementation," said Director Webb. "They all did great work."
