New FMLA Online Training Now Available

The Division of Personnel (DOP) is happy to announce our Employee Relations section, along with OHRD, created a new online training course, Untangling the Web of State Leaves with the federal Family and Medical Leave Act which is now available. The course is intended to be used as an introduction to the integration of the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, WV Parental Leave Act, and Leave of Absence Without Pay as provided in the WV DOP's Administrative Rule (143CSR1). Both new and experienced HR professionals and leave coordinators involved in employee eligibility determinations and medical leave management are highly encouraged to enroll. The course is approximately 1-2 hours and includes downloadable resources and reference material for future use.
