Work Eligibility: Every application for State employment has two (2) questions in the Agency Wide Questions section regarding your work eligibility. Take time to review your answers carefully before submitting your application. (Reminder: Online applications cannot be changed/edited once you click “submit.") A “no" answer to question #10 (Are you legally eligible to work in the United States?) will result in a rejection notice.

If you answer this question incorrectly and you are eligible to work in the U.S., please email applicantservices@wv.gov. If you require sponsorship to work in the U.S. (Do you require sponsorship to work in the United States?), you will need to work with the hiring agency to attain the needed sponsorship.
