Social Media and Advertising
In addition to posting reminders of job postings that are closing soon, DOP also highlights jobs that are unique or agencies may have trouble filling. This includes running advertisements targeted at the specific city or county that has a job opening.
Career Fairs
Through in-person and virtual events, DOP staff promote state positions through career fairs. In additional to a monthly virtual fair with Workforce West Virginia, DOP also travels to high schools, colleges, and community events for recruitment events.
