Course Description:
Can you recognize leadership opportunities in your organization? Are you reluctant to take advantage of leadership opportunities in your team? Do you worry that you lack the skills necessary for leadership?
In today's dynamic workplace, the role of leadership has changed dramatically. Leaders exist within every area of an organization and contribute in many different ways. All employees should develop their knowledge of leadership skills to facilitate their engagement in the workplace and contribute to organizational goals.
In this interactive program, you will:
- Learn the characteristics and behaviors of successful leaders;
- Explore leadership styles;
- Identify leadership imperatives; and
- Develop an action plan for leading more effectively within your organization.
Audience & Applicability:
This course is designed for and fully applicable to both classified and classified-exempt employees. All content, examples, and guidance are relevant regardless of employment status.
