Course Description:

Are you looking for ways to improve employee and organizational performance? Would you like to focus your employees' attention on the most important parts of their jobs? Are you interested in improving productivity and morale in the workplace?​

If you answered yes to these questions, join us for our Employee Performance Appraisal training to learn how to utilize the performance appraisal process as a tool to achieve results. 

In this interactive program you will learn:

  • How to partner with your employees to establish meaningful goals;
  • How to write measurable performance expectations;
  • A model for holding performance discussions; and
  • How to use the employee performance appraisal system as a meaningful talent management tool.

Note: Individuals who manage/supervisor classified-exempt employees are advised to take the in-person training to receive the most up-to-date information.
 

Audience & Applicability:​

Online: This course is intended specifically for classified employees and reflects policies, processes, or practices unique to the classified service. It is not recommended for classified-exempt employees, as the content does not reflect their employment structure or expectations.​

In-Person: This course is designed for and fully applicable to both classified and classified-exempt employees. All content, examples, and guidance are relevant regardless of employment status.
