In today’s world, we are more connected to one another than ever before. Resource limitations and unprecedented levels of complexity dictate a collective approach to work. Technical job skills, while important, are not enough. We must also learn how to build functional relationships with people at work. The effective and appropriate use of interpersonal communication can enhance your performance and help improve the performance of your team and organization.

This program will demonstrate how good interpersonal communication can build relationships, upgrade service delivery, enhance learning, and expand your influence. Specifically, you will learn how to:
  • Create rapport with others;
  • Improve your listening skills;
  • Increase your openness to the ideas, values, and viewpoints of others; and
  • Share information in an accurate, timely, and respectful manner.
