Virtual Group Coaching for Leaders - Winter 2021


Are you looking for strategies and tools to help engage employees and drive performance during these challenging times?  Do you need to act on key team or organizational issues, but would like some assistance getting started?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, join the WV Division of Personnel - Organization and Human Resource Development section for an upcoming offering of our new service: Virtual Group Coaching for Leaders.  These intact, quarterly coaching groups help leaders examine their thinking and behaviors, identify areas of improvement, and develop action-oriented plans to increase their professional effectiveness.  The outcomes associated with leadership coaching are twofold: to contribute to the growth and development of the client and to improve individual, team, and organizational performance.  Unlike a normal classroom training, you will drive the group and your coach will act as a facilitator, helping leaders establish goals, create action plans, and follow through with commitments related to your goals and needs.

Interested supervisors/managers must complete an application process and be selected to participate in OHRD's Virtual Group Coaching for Leaders.  Space is limited so we recommend submitting your application early.  Interested applicants must complete the application in its entirety including:

  • Thoroughly answering the provided assessment questions.
  • Obtaining approval from manager and having them sign the application.
  • Signifying on the application your agreement to attend all sessions (60-90 minute Teams meetings, twice a month, for 3 months).
  • Signifying on the application your agreement to develop monthly Action Plans that identify work and progress.
