Please Note: The federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and corresponding Division of Personnel (DOP) policy expired December 31, 2020.  Any reference to the Act or policy in the materials below is not applicable to events occurring on or after January 1, 2021.  However, employees may still be entitled to leave under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, West Virginia Parental Leave Act, and/or the DOP Administrative Rule (143CSR1).

As we continue to work to ensure that the citizens of West Virginia receive vital services, it is important to stay abreast of employees rights and benefits in the midst of this global pandemic.  To support agencies as they navigate through this time, the Division of Personnel is committed to providing resources and support.  Below is a list of DOP developed and curated resources regarding expanded leave rights and other HR related COVID exceptions for those working in DOP covered agencies.  We will update this page as time and resources become available.  If you have questions, please contact Employee Relations at 304-414-1853 or DOPEmpRelations@wv.gov.
